Fabryka Słów Publishing House web page is now online. New design, new layout, clear schema and it's fast, really fast. Our company designed a new layout and developed the whole page. One of the most important thing was to import data from the previous page, categorize everything, tag and prepare a new version which would be readable, ease to use and fresh. Design

We have started by preparing a page design and layout. Based on their specification we have designed totally new version. After that we have finished designing and moved to programming.

Code

For coding we have chosen Symfony 2, PHP framework. First we've started by designing a new database based on the previous one. As the last version was developed 9 years ago, it was really a challenge. The second stage was to develop Admin panel. We have prepared many cool functionalities to make using it as simple as possible, taking into account the fact that the database is quite big. Finally we have coded Frontend.
